Wouldn't society prosper...?

People are working on such things right now. Another problem we find with energy sources, such as wind power, is how to store it. If you have an entire grid running on wind power and a large section goes through a blackout, you are pretty much stuck because we haven't developed a way to store it. I wish we could find a way to harness the suns energy from satellites in space and transfer it to earth. That would provide more than enough for just about everything we need.
