Wil the Lutheran chruch ELCA lose a ton of members due to their Gay affirming Status change?

Most liberal churches, incuding the ELCA, are already losing members. The ELCA has lost hundreds of thousands in recent years. The same is true of other churches that have accepted practicing gay clergy. The Episcopal Church and the radically liberal United Church of Christ are both in rapid decline. It is true that a few activists and their supporters along with other liberals may join. But mainstream American Christians, who still make up most of the ELCA, are getting sick of it. Some conservative evangelicals will stay in the denomination awhile longer trying to change or reform it, but they are getting frustrated. Many will join conservative, biblical Lutheran bodies such as the Missouri Synod Lutherans or the Wisconsin Lutherans if they have nearby congregations. Some with join non-Lutheran evangelical churches such as nondenominational, Baptist emblies of God or Four Square. It is possible that new splitoff denomination could form, maybe not as conservative as the Missouri Synod, but more conservative than the ELCA. That space could be filled by a new Lutheran body that would accept women pastors (which the Missouri Synod does not accept) but not practicing ual pastors.
