Where to fish early march in USA?

I was considering going fishing around march 5th-15th out of state somewhere for a couple of days. My current place of residence is Michigan. I know typically around that early in march the water is still frozen and or much to cold to really have anything biting. Please help me find a place that would be a good time to go. Interested in freshwater, walleye, b, pike, etc.
