When are the best times to wash your car? Is automatic or manual better?

Try to find a "touchless" automated car wash. This car wash uses no power brushes (that harm the paint) only high pressure water and chemical detergents. These washes usually have a sprayer that power washes the underside of your car, which is actually more important. The road salt and dirt collects all over the suspension and causes balancing problems and rusty deposits that can be power sprayed away. Don't forget to power wash your etire engine compartment several times a year. Many times, a do-it-yourself car wash and a sponge or washing pad does a non-destructive job as well. Be sure to wash the door jambs and door edges, as well. Rust likes to start here. Good Luck!!!
