I'm Really Worried About My Son, Please Help?

i'm worried. my son is two months old. and he doesn't follow objects very well with his eyes. should he be doing this by now. or is he possibly just a late bloomer and he will do it in the next couple months. i talked to his pediatrition about it, but she just said that he would most likely be fine and it would develop soon. but she's always optimistic, i'm truly worried. she did however refer him to see a pediatric eye doctor, just to put my mind to ease. but i'm worried. any one else's babies take longer to start following objects with their eyes. thanks.
