Ever been to Texas?

The people in Texas are really looking to the future, they have wind turbines, producing electricity, as far as the eye can see. I'm not exaggerating. They say that the two largest wind farms in the world are in that area. You can drive for miles & miles and there is nothing but wind turbines. It is amazing, this is about 100 mi. east of Midland, TX (Bush's home town). In Bush's home town they have a petroleum museum, it is amazing the technology they use to get oil out of the ground. I've done a lot of traveling, but this place is the most impressive thing I have ever seen. That town is full of engineers and physicists. They sure show it differently on TV. Has anyone been there, if so do you know anything else about Texas?
